Victoria Lukmanova with a service dog Kira successfully performed at the Belarusian sports society Dynamo Championship in all-around dog training

Over the four October days, the XIV Open Championship in official all-around dog training with special dogs was held at the Belarusian sports society Dynamo. The competition was attended by 32 best dog handlers with their pets from law enforcement agencies of Belarus, Russia and Latvia.

In the national team of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the dog handler of the Minsk Regional Customs Viktoriya Lukmanova with a service dog, the German shepherd Kira, took part in the championship.

Competitions were held in three disciplines: obedience; search and detection of explosives, weapons and ammunition; search and detection of drugs.

Service dogs had to show their skills in the search for narcotic drugs and explosives, weapons and ammunition in baggage, cars and trucks, premises and on humans.

According to the results of the championship in the team event, the winner was the team of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus consisting of Victoria Lukmanova from the Minsk Regional Customs and Alexander Sholomitsky from the Brest Customs.

In the absolute championship in the discipline "Search and detection of narcotic drugs" V. Lukmanova with her ward Kira took second place.
