A solemn ceremony of taking the Oath by the first time accepted the customs officials of the Minsk region was held on September 20, 2019, on the day of the customs officer, on the State Flag Square.
The event was attended by chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Senko, head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation Vladimir Bulavin, head of the Minsk Regional Customs Alexander Valiev and head of the Minsk Central Customs Valery Roman.
The chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Senko, made a welcoming speech, in which he noted:
“Let the Oath of allegiance to the Motherland that you were taking today to the face of colleagues and veterans, your relatives and comrades will unite you, serve as a starting point in solving important tasks for the benefit of our country, and direct to faithful service to the Republic of Belarus. Belarusian customs is interested in highly qualified personnel who know their job and strive to conquer the highest peaks. I am sure that it is you who will become active participants in new projects and make your significant contribution to the development of the customs service.”
Then the ceremony of taking Oath was begun. In a festive atmosphere, 66 young customs officers made a promise to observe the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, to serve faithfully and honestly for the good of the Fatherland.
The head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Bulavin, congratulated the new customs officers, wishing them professional success and faithful service for the benefit of the Motherland. Congratulations and parting words addressed to young customs officers were also made by the veteran of the customs service Lyudmila Terekhova, who urged them to clearly fulfill their tasks and be worthy of the proud title of customs officer.
On behalf of the young employees who took the oath, an inspector of the Minsk Regional Customs Ivan Anoshko spoke. He promised with full self-dedication to protect the country's economic interests and make every effort and knowledge to become a worthy replacement for veterans and not to shame the honor of the customs uniform.
