About the status of Authorized Economic Operator

We draw the attention of the subjects of foreign economic activity included in the registry of authorized economic operators (hereinafter referred to as AEO), that on the basis of Article 465, paragraph 1 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the Customs code of the EAEU) the legal entities that have obtained the status of AEO in accordance with the Customs Code of the Customs Union and the legislation of the Member States adopted in accordance with it retain the status of AEO up to 01.01.2020.

Since 01.01.2020 the legal entities, specified in paragraph 1 of Article 465 of the Customs code of the EAEU within the territory of the Member State, the customs authority of which assigned the status of AEO, have no right to use special simplifications established by subparagraphs 2 and 4 of paragraph 2 and subparagraphs 1, 3 and 4 of paragraph 3 of Article 437 of the Customs code of the EAEU, in the manner and under the conditions established by the Customs code of the EAEU.

For inclusion in the registry of АЕО with issuance of the certificate of the first type, the second the third type in the manner and under the conditions established by the Customs code of the EAEU must apply to the State customs Committee of The Republic of Belarus.

We also call attentionthat in accordance with paragraph 54 of Appendix 1 to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated on 22.12.2018 № 490 “On Customs Regulation”, an application for inclusion in the register of AEO and the documents attached are considered by the State Customs Committee for a period notexceeding 60 calendar days from the date of registration of the application for inclusion in the registry of AEO , and in the case of customs inspection - within a period not exceeding 120 calendar days.
