Young employees of the customs authorities of the Minsk region swore allegiance to the Motherland
On May 28, 2019, on the eve of the Day of Veterans of the Customs Service, a solemn ceremony of taking the Oath was held for the first time employed officials of the customs bodies of the Minsk region.
30 young officers swore allegiance to Belarus and its people. The celebration took place in the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
Welcoming remarks were made by the Head of the Minsk Regional Customs, Alexander Valiev, who noted:
“Let the high words, uttered in a solemn place on the eve of the Day of the Veterans of the Customs Service, will forever remain in the memory and inspire for exemplary performance of their official duties. Do not lose determination and readiness for honest fulfillment of official duty, faith in your future and pride in the customs officer’s chosen path. For many years, keep the enthusiasm at work and the zeal for new knowledge and skills. Work so that your loved ones are proud of you.”
Then began the ceremony of taking the oath. In a solemn atmosphere, the young customs officers promised to faithfully observe the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, to serve faithfully and honestly for the good of the Fatherland.
Congratulations and parting words addressed to the customs officers, who took the oath, sounded from the mouth of the customs service veterans Lyudmila Terekhova and Nikolai Zagorsky, who urged them to abide by the oath of allegiance to the Motherland, to carry out their tasks clearly.
Sergei Kononovich, inspector of the Department of Customs Operations and Control No. 2 of the Minsk Regional Customs, spoke on behalf of the young employees who took the oath. He promised with full dedication to serve the protection of the economic interests of the country and make every effort and knowledge to become a competent specialist.
Relatives and relatives came to support their sons and daughters on this momentous and exciting day. The mother of one of the young customs officers Alla Kononovich, addressed the customs officerscustoms officers, who took the oath, with a congratulatory word. She wished them professional success, health and called to serve faithfully for the good of the Motherland and be an example.
At the end of the ceremony, a memorable photographing took place, as well as a tour of the halls of the museum.
At the end of the solemn event, the leadership of the customs, as well as the guests of honor, laid flowers at the Victory Altar in memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom, independence and prosperity of our Motherland.
